Bless ‘em, but my datacenter sometimes works against me. Yesterday, I got word the server was brought back online, freshly formatted and reset…ahhh..fresh server smell! Nothing like it!
I logged in, started transferring files, editing sql statements and preparing for some routine OS upgrades and patches. After getting so far, it dawned on me that the system reset reflected a much more recent file system. I made a call and low and behold, someone forgot to format it first! Yikes! So it was virtually the same compromised server we had on Sunday when the first incident occurred. What this means is we have to start from scratch again today. Thank you sir may I have another?

Sometime you need to do these things yourself…
So if it was not a fresh server smell what do you suppose the smell was?
Hey, have you got a backup contact line for support for Achieve-IT!?
Yes, I would do it myself, but there’s an entire continent separating me from the machine right now.
Please feel free to contact me directly bisaac-at-triad.rr.com for Achieve-IT! related questions.
