First details about the Skype WiFi phone

I’ve made a few phone calls over the Skype network and find the quality to be pretty darn good for both computers and Pocket PC devices. But what if you want the traditional hold a phone in your hand feel? Apparently we won’t have to wait too long. They will be releasing a “Skype” phone that you can use over a wifi network to call at the free or discounted rates (skypeout).

They’re not quite ready to show us what it actually looks like or when it might be available (which may or may not be a bad sign), but earlier today Skype revealed a few details about the new WiFi phone that CEO Niklas Zennstrom hinted at a few months ago.
