Our sister site has some info about a new DIY paper planner you can use instead of a digital PDA. I am afraid this would not work for me, I need things like the ability to keep my calendar BEEPS handy and my contact list in searchable form. But it might work for you.

What is a PocketMod?
The PocketMod is a new way to keep yourself organized. Lets face it, PDA’s are to expensive and cumbersome, and organizers are bulky and hard to carry around. Nothing beats a folded up piece of paper. That is until now. With the PocketMod, you can carry around the days notes, keep them organized in any way you wish, then easily transfer the notes to your PDA, spreadsheet, or planer.

I actually discoverd this site and think its a great idea. Not that I would give up my PPC but it is great for quick easy entry. I can pull it out, jot down a few things and then put it in my device later. I admit that I the paper format never worked for me. I was always late to meeting becuase if I wasn’t looking at my schedule when it was time to be there, I was sunk. Gotta have that reminder chime. Also a good way to get out of that unwanted hall conversation. The PocketMod may be just want some folks need.
