On my birthday we went to see the new Steve Martin movie Shop Girl. I found the movie to be slow and long. It also seems like I’ve seen the same plot several times in different movies. The highlight of the movie for me was that Mark Kozelek of The Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon made an appearance. He had some of the best lines in the movie and got to show off 3 of his songs.

That’s cool. The wife wants to see that movie. Mark was also in Vanilla Sky, which featured a smoking RHP tune.
