Tiny Clip for getting those Long URLS through

Posted under Productivity

I am a frequent user of TinyUrl. There’s nothing more of a hassle for me than to send someone a web link and have them write back that it doesn’t work because of word wrapping. Well, to save the step of having to go to Tinyurl for your new compact linkage, there is a small app called Tiny Clip that does it automatically based on how many characters are in the url itself.

When it detects a URL in the clipboard, it will automatically convert it to a TinyURL and put the contents back in the clipboard. No special key is required, just the usual Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V.
