Two New Year’s Questions To Ask Yourself

by Brad Isaac on January 3, 2006

Tom Peters asks two important questions we should ask and answer for ourselves in the New Year to increase our success.

1. What’s the most important thing you’ve done in the last year?

2. What’s the most important thing you’ll do in the next year?

What are my answers?

To #1: in 2005 I decided to focus my efforts. I spent some long hard hours choosing many things I was going to stop doing. I am good at quite a few things that don’t really contribute to the goals I want to achieve. Sure they were fun, some were even financially solvent. But I still had to make a decision on what I was going to focus on and then commit to it. The main action I had to take to increase my focus was I had to get rid of most of the activities that were not contributing to the outcomes I was shooting for.

#2 Increase the number of people I can help with their personal success. I touched on this the other day. The most important thing I can do in 2006 is help you succeed. I’ll be working hard to help through this blog, the newsletter, Achieve-IT! software and through personal consultation. Only you need to decide how I can best help you.

So what are your answers to these two questions?
