New Nagging Service: HassleMe
Posted under MotivationHassleMe is a new service where you enter a task you are putting off and it "hassles" you with repeated emails at "semi-unpredictable intervals".
If you find yourself motivated by email reminders this might just be your ticket to a life of ease and getting things done. Simply, enter the number of days you want to be nagged and what you want to be nagged about to get the ball rolling. One flaw I spotted though. You can apparently "hassle" your friends and co-workers with messages. So it’s likely it will eventually be used by the same element who abuse blog trackbacks. So HassleMe might get filtered soon.
Popular Hassles
* Go to the gym roughly every 4 days
* Write an entry in my diary roughly every 3 days
* Call your mother roughly every 7 days
* Go to the theatre roughly every 21 days
* Spend 5 hours doing something for mySociety roughly every 28 days
* Practice the piano roughly every 3 days
* Go for a walk in the park roughly every 10 days

Schikaniere mich!
To clarify the comment above re: filtering - you can enter multiple email addresses, but each address is sent an individual email asking them to confirm that they want to be hassled. Several thousand users, and no complaints yet, so I guess it’s working!
Ok, cool.. Just one of the things that stuck out to me. Thought it might damage your system.
