The Quiet Torment of Sufjan Stevens

Posted under Lifehacks

Sufjan
Although this is not a music review site, I will sometimes
mention music that gets me. Sufjan Stevens is one of those artists whose music has emotional hooks have a way of getting
under your skin and staying there.

Odds are, you probably haven’t heard of his music. He is very talented in many different
instruments such as the oboe, banjo, guitar, piano, violin and a number of
other instruments. Reviewers often
compare him to Mozart and from the sheer technical instrumentation; I can say
they aren’t too far off the mark. There
isn’t much out there that matches his style of music. Some of the songs start out whimsical or
almost silly and end up changing midway into music that can bring tears to your
eyes.

If you get a chance, check out his music.
