Why 39 is the new 24 ½
Posted under Goals and Goal SettingWell it’s that time of year again. I am another year older and wiser. This time, I’ve arrived at the tender age of 39. Since I’ve heard talk of 40 being the new 25. So I figured 39 is the new 24 ½ .
To celebrate, I thought I’d launch a birthday balloon. As long-time readers know, I’ve been working hard on Achieve-IT! desktop software. Today, I’ve posted the new 2007 version of Achieve-IT! desktop and for fun decided to give everyone a big 50% off birthday discount. The new version implements the new interface changes and loads of improvements and fixes as suggested per the beta group.
If you’d like to participate in this birthday offer, I’ll keep it available until Wednesday of this week (November 15, 2006). For those who’d like to try it first, you can download it here.
Update: It’s Wednesday and like all good things, they must come to an end. So the birthday special is over. Thanks for everyone who participated, you made it the best birthday ever! :)

Happy Birthday, hope its great one. And thank you for the discount on the new version. Do we need to uninstall the previous version first?
Leif, thanks for the birthday wishes. :) No, you should be able to just install over the old version.
How about providing a link to more information on the software, for those of us who have arrived recently? I for one would really like to learn more - what it is, what it can do for me, what are the system requirements for it to run, etc.
Thank you.
Oh, and happy birthday! :) Have a great one.
Oh OK, never mind. I just saw the link at the top of the page. Doh! Sorry.
It’s tempting………
Oh and Happy Birtday.
Interested, I ended up swamped yesterday - glad you found the info.
John, thanks for the birthday wishes.
Hi Brad,
Happy Birthday !! Do you have plans for updating the PPC version too ?
If so, how soon can we expect the updated Achieve IT Pocket PC Version ?
Thanks,
Srini
Srini, Yes, updating the Pocket PC version is on the schedule. Next step is syncing between the PPC and desktop version.
