Fun and Productive Links for Sunday

by Brad Isaac on July 15, 2007

It’s another beautiful day here in Greensboro, NC the lake is calling so I’ll post some links that got my attention.

  • “Bust A Name” Helps You Find A Good Domain Name – I’ve tested this. It really is a good tool to quickly scan your domain name ideas. Note: it doesn’t test 100% of the domain combinations you put in. So if you have an idea, be sure and cross reference with one of the domain name services on your list
  • 10 ways to show you care for your family – I assume family is as important to you as they are to me. Show them you care.
  • 5 Powerful Reasons to Eat Slower – What’s the hurry? Slow down and enjoy your food. :)
  • A 3 Step Routine for Creating Energy that Lasts All Day – Here’s a good way to wake up in the morning.
  • Coffee Lover? I like it, but not this much…
  • Do You Hate Criticism? Here’s Why You Should Love It! – Provided the criticism gives you something to work with, it can be your best friend.
  • Finger Boomerang – Somewhere there’s a coworker getting popped in the head with one of these.
  • Guy Kawasaki & the art of the 5-sentence email – KISS… Keep it short stupid. Short and sweet emails get the job done, long ones usually get ignored.
  • Habit List – Beautiful PDF and strategy for defining habits vs. tasks.
  • How To Instantly Sound More Confident The Next Time You Make A Phone Call – Want to sound your best? This is a brilliant tip for putting your best foot forward on the phone.
  • Weekend Project: Make your own sprinkler timer – You all know how I’m an avid gardener. This looks like a fun project. I will probably still buy timers to save time, but bookmarking for future reference

Hey, thanks for the post. Bustaname does try every combination though.

Hi Ryan, thanks for stopping by. I’m open to the idea that maybe an error occurred once or twice while I was trying it. However I did find in some instances where I would type in 5 words when I had an idea for a domain name, but found that one combination that Bust-A-Name did not come up with was actually available. But overall I highly recommend it for people who want to generate domain names. :-)

Brad,
Perhaps it was a bug, could you tell me what the combination was?

Thanks,
Ryan
