Isn't it a good thing? We only live this one life, we don't bring the money with us when we die, nor your copyright law. But we could pass the wisdom we learnt, to our friends, and the next generation. One day the author may die, and the book becomes a classic, his name and his contribution will be remembered, and the book will be able to be read online everywhere. And, the people who aren't going to buy it, will not buy it even u force our blogger to disable the link. You may have done the right thing, but not necessarily a good thing. I see how Scribd might be in violation of the copyright, but I still don’t see how my site could be construed as “breaking the law” since I only linked to it.
